My recent stay at Verano Azul 61B Nerja during the Christmas holidays was truly delightful. The modern IKEA furnished apartment provided a welcoming ambiance with a spectacular view from the balcony - a perfect blend of mountains and sea, offering a serene retreat. Despite being located on a busy road, the rooms were tranquil and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. The convenience of having a Spar shop nearby, along with just a short walk to both the town center and Burriana beach, made exploring Nerja a breeze, adding a touch of comfort to our adventure.The apartment itself was a home away from home, equipped with all the essentials one could desire. The pristine pool area was a refreshing spot to unwind, complemented by the proximity of a supermarket offering a diverse selection of Spanish and English food at reasonable prices. The restaurant near the reception was a culinary gem, providing a taste of local flavors within reach.As an art historian with a keen eye for detail, I appreciated the aesthetic appeal of the apartment and its surroundings. The well-maintained pool area and the re-tiled pool added to the allure of the complex, although a fresh coat of paint would enhance its overall charm. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's rest after days filled with exploration and cultural immersion in Nerja. The thoughtful amenities, strategic location, and warm hospitality made our Christmas getaway a memorable one. I look forward to returning in October for another enriching stay at this cultural haven in Spain.
